Western Sydney Aerotropolis
The Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan will provide the new Nancy Bird Walton Airport, Bradfield City, Sydney Science Park, walkways, cycleways, Metro Rail Link, major road upgrades including the new M12 Motorway, and plenty of green space.
This plan is to help meet demand for the future growth ahead with projects that are already under construction and due for completion in 2026.
The current construction and infrastructure that is happening now has already bought an increased number of people to the area. The Western Sydney Aerotropolis is on of Australia’s fastest growing urban areas with a forecast of 1.4 million people.

Bradfield City
Welcome to Sydney’s 3rd City know as Bradfield City. Bradfield City Centre is part of the Western Parkland Project being built on the doorstep of the new Nancy Bird Walton Western Sydney International Airport. The first building is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024.
The City will be knows as an advanced city of innovation for Defence and Aerospace Industries, Manufacturing and Logistics, Future Transport Industries, Construction Technology and New Energy and Circular Economy Industries.
Bradfield City will be connected to Greater Sydney through new Metro Rail Links and new road projects.
It is estimated that there will be more than 17,000 jobs created, more than 15,000 homes with late night retail, entertainment and cultural facilities.

Western Sydney International Airport
Nancy Bird Walton Airport is currently under construction with completion due in 2026. The Airport will be a full-service airport operating without curfew enabling it to deliver international, domestic and freight Services and accommodate 10 million passengers per year.
The airport is currently supporting up to 3,200 jobs whilst under construction and is estimated to employ 9,000 jobs once open over the next 20 years. By 2031 is is anticipated that the Airport will support approximately 28,000 jobs.
There is word that there are plans to build a second runway by 2050.

Sydney Science Park

The City of the future – Sydney Science Park will create an area for research, development, education, commercialisation and innovation.
Offering approximately 12,000 positions with a mix of commercial and retail spaces and 3,400 dwellings.

South West Rail Line & Transport
Currently under construction the new Metro Rail link will have stations at St Marys, Claremont Meadows, Orchard Hills, Luddenham, Western Sydney Airport and Bradfield.
There will be a new Rapid Bus network, temporary park and drive parking, walking and cycling ways. With future plans to have an interchange with the East West Rail Link and a South West Rail Line extension to link to Oran Park and Narellan.
The Aerotropolis station will be located east of Badgerys Creek Road with one entrance on the eastern side and another on the western side of the station.

Road Upgrades
M12 Motorway will provide access between the M7 Motorway and The Northern Road giving direct access to the Western Sydney Airport. The M12 is due to be completed in 2026 prior to the opening of the Airport.
The Northern Road upgrade is completed and now is a link from Penrith through to Narellan giving access to Elizabeth Drive & Bringelly Road and the new M12.
Bringelly Road upgrade was completed in December 2020, creating a multi lane connection between Camden Valley Way and Rossmore with on ramp access to The Northern Road.
Elizabeth Drive upgrade is a future planned project. It is one of the main roads connecting Liverpool to Luddenham. Currently a two land undivied road, with no footpaths or cycleways. This will see an expansion of industrial and commercial precincts associated with the development of the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
